Ƶ Director of Small Farm Programs for the College of Agriculture, Environment, and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS) and a member of the Macon County Commission, Miles Robinson was recently elected vice president of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA).
“This will allow me to even further assist the footprint of Ƶ and its mission of working with rural and economically challenged communities,” said the TU alumnus. “It puts me in a statewide position as I focus on economic development.”
Robinson was featured in a recent issue of County Commission magazine, which is distributed to the government and business community across the state.
“I personally consider it an honor to be in service to the Association at the statewide level,” he told the magazine. “ACCA has always been dedicated to serving Alabama’s 67 counties with one unified voice and I look forward to embracing the new role as vice president and joining that mission as a member of leadership.”
