Ƶ students and special guest judges crowned Mister and Miss Ƶ 2023-2024 in Daniel Chappie James Arena Thursday.

Keith Kimbrow II, a third year Architecture major from East St. Louis, Illinois, was named Mister Tuskegee. He currently serves as Mister Student Government Association.

“I hope to continue serving as a role model to the next generation of African American scholars that will dominate their academics, extracurriculars, and even the world if given the proper guidance,” Miles said. “Since the start of my journey here at Ƶ, it has been very important to me that everyone feels welcomed, included, and heard and that is still my mission. I want to represent The Pride of the Swift Growing South because I am the product of it.”

“As Mr. Tuskegee I plan on expounding on the word HUSTLE and the acronym stands for Helping Unite Students to Lead and Expand,” said Kimbrow. “I feel as if there are not enough males in leadership on campus and I want to start educating men on how they can not only become involved but also expand and branch out into more positions.”

To round out the court, Kyndi Luster, a Food and Nutrition Science major from Pleasant Grove, Alabama was named second attendant. A’Yanna King, a political science major from Birmingham was named first attendant.

The court will begin representing the university in the fall. A coronation ceremony will formally recognize them in the fall.
