TUSKEGEE, Ala. (May 9, 2016) — Best Colleges.com has ranked Ƶ’s newly launched online programs the best in the state. The institution is No. 1 among 18 schools on the 2016 Best Online Colleges in Alabama list.
According to its website, Best Colleges.com seeks to “empower students by providing the information needed to make informed higher education decisions. Through proprietary research, we build user-friendly guides and rankings that lead students of all ages on their personal path to a college degree.”
“Awards such as this are testaments to the hard work of a select group of Ƶ faculty. These individuals are eminently qualified in their respective fields and invest much time and energy in applying the latest information technologies to enhance instruction,” said Jacqueline McArthur, director Office of Distance Education and Online Learning.
Online education and expanded 21st Century academic programming and instruction are among the five strategic priorities in the vision for the university. Tuskegee launched its first fully online accredited degree programs in fall 2015.
