¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ has won a $60,000.00 campus improvement grant in the 2024 Home Depot Retool Your School contest. With this latest win, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ also received what is called the Record Smasher Award, having the most wins. The university has won twelve grants totaling $440,000.00 over the past fifteen years to improve student life on campus.

Kym Holland, Coordinator of Alumni Affairs, stated, "Receiving a grant for twelve out of fifteen years is a testament to the relentless determination and unyielding commitment by our students, alumni, and friends."

Tuskegee is one of 30 Historically Black Colleges and Universities receiving grant money from Home Depot's Retool Your School grant program. This year's campus improvement project is to resurface the intramural basketball court and to add hands-free water bottle filling stations where there are currently water fountains.

"In the spirit of Tuskegee, this grant represents more than just funds for improvement; it symbolizes the enduring legacy of excellence and community support. We are grateful for the unwavering dedication of our alumni, students, faculty, staff, and supporters who have championed Tuskegee's mission," said Burt Rowe, Tuskegee Alum and Administrator of the Tuskegee Retool Your School Program.
