Students fromÌýÌývisited Acadia National ParkÌýin Bar Harbor, MaineÌýto study about careers in conservation and jobsÌýand internshipsÌýavailable within the National Park Service and associated fields.Ìý
A mixture of graduate and undergraduate students participated in this experience. We had the pleasure of learning about jobs with various non-profits and park partners such as Camp Beech Cliff (Lodging Accommodations),ÌýSomesÌýMeynellÌýWildlife Sanctuary, Friends of Acadia, and theÌýSchoodicÌýInstitute. The students were able to conduct a variety of citizen science projects in the park, team building with partners, and learned about several research management jobs in addition to education and law enforcement positions.Ìý
