Welcome to the TU Pre-Vet Med Scholars Honors Program!

The College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS), Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (DAES), Animal and Veterinary Sciences (AVSC) Program and the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ (TUCVM) join in a collaborative effort to increase the applicant pool for the Degree of Veterinary Medicine.  The two academies have demonstrated that the development and implementation of a successful Pre-Veterinary Medicine Scholars program (PVM) can serve as a pipeline to prepare  and inspire talented students to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and achieve the goal of increasing African American and other URM students in veterinary medicine. PVM Scholars may choose from FOUR pre-vet (degree) options  offered by the Animal and Veterinary Sciences (AVSC) Program - Science Option, Companion and Lifestyle Animals Option, Wildlife Science Option (4 Year Undergraduate Curriculum) and the Veterinary Sciences Option (3 Year Undergraduate Curriculum).
