The Environmental, Natural Resource and Plant Sciences B.S. degree program offers options in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Natural ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Plant and Soil Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry and Wildlife/Fisheries.
Environmental Sciences Option: This interdisciplinary option provides students with an understanding of how human activities effect our environment and its resources, including how to provide possible solutions to important environmental issues. Natural ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Option: This interdisciplinary option provides students with a broad-based scientific background related to the management, sustainability and use of our natural resources. Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Option: This option is offered in collaboration with other universities under a 3+1 arrangement with three years of study at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and one year of study at a partner institution in preparation for graduate studies. The forestry, wildlife and fisheries areas prepare students to protect, conserve and manage our nation’s fish and natural resources. Plant and Soil Sciences Option: Learning how to conserve our soil and water resources, including obtaining knowledge of plant/soil ecosystems, as it relates to the production of plants, is provided by this option.
