FASTREC

FASTREC is an eight-week long summer program offered to high school graduates who are eligible for, or have been accepted for admission to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ. You can pursue an intensive course of study in mathematics, engineering and study skills.

FASTREC I is a great opportunity for those students who are college calculus ready with a minimum SAT math score of 540/ACT math score of 24. Students will begin their engineering education early and earn up to nine credits towards their BS degree in Engineering.

FASTREC II is a great opportunity for those students who need more preparation in mathematics. They will learn the fundamentals of math and start on a great path towards engineering. This special pre-engineering summer program provides students with an early opportunity to begin their engineering education, earning up to seven credits.

At the end of the FASTREC Program, industry sponsors award scholarships to selected students depending on their academic performance in the program.  These scholarships are tenable at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ ONLY.

How Can You Participate in FASTREC?

  • Have been accepted to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and have paid enrollment fee to the University.
  • Apply to the FASTREC Summer Program by the April 10 deadline.
  • Submit a Letter of Recommendation and a Non-Refundable Application Fee of $100 (Cashiers Check or Money Order payable to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ).
