In addition to hearing from the DGPH’s faculty and staff during their visit, the group of talented and inquisitive students from Cornell University also got an opportunity to meet with TUCVM MPH students and Dr. Torhonda Lee, Head of the DGPH at TUCVM. These interactions provided a platform for exchanging ideas, allowing Cornell students to learn from their peers and gain insights into the department’s initiatives and leadership.

“The students appreciated this engagement which fostered a collaborative environment that enriches their understanding of public health from both an academic and community outreach perspective, " Dr. Hassani concludes.
